King, who finished fourth at the New England Championships, also was voted first-team All-Division by the Coaches Association.
Steve Goncalves, Cumberland, 112 pounds
Despite not wrestling until the ninth grade, Goncalves compiled an impressive 134-31 record over his four-year career. En route to winning his second consecutive state title, Goncalves won the Concord (Mass.) Invitational, the Cumberland Invitational, the Norwich (Conn) Free Academy Invitational, and the Columbia (N.Y.) Invitational. Goncalves, who went 36-4 this year with only one loss coming against Rhode Island competition, avenged that loss at the state tournament when he pinned Bishop Hendricken's Charlie Simone in 3 minutes, 31 seconds. Goncalves finished fourth at the New England Championships.
Mike Hartman, Hendricken, 140 pounds
After falling in the first round of the state tournament last season, Hartman put in a lot of hard work in the offseason and it paid off. He went 38-0 against Rhode Island competition and won the Concord (Mass.) Invitational and the Cranston East Invitational and was the runner-up at the Woburn (Mass.) Invitational. Hartman, who edged Cumberland's Dave Stowik, 4-3, for the statetitle, finished with a 38-1 record.
Justin Belanger, Exeter/W.Greenwich, 119 pounds
After coming in second place at the State Meet in the 112-pound division as a freshman, Belanger moved up to the 119 pounds this season and won the state title with an 18-8 victory over Cumberland's Colin O'Brien. Belanger went 40-0 en route to winning the state title. He also captured first place at the South County Tournament, the Chad Antoch Tournament, the Cumberland Invitational, the Hurricane Invitational and the Ridgefield (Conn.) Challenge. His only loss came at the New England Championships. He finished with a 40-1 record.

Martini, who finished second at the state tournament as a sophomore at 130 pounds and as a junior at 140 pounds, moved up to 145 pounds this season and could not be beaten. This technically sound grappler capped off his remarkable high school career by pinning all four of his opponents at the statetournament, including Lincoln's Ryan Doucette in 1 minute, 29 seconds to capture the title.
Matthew Forcier, Cranston East, 215 pounds
Forcier went 30-5 this season with only one loss coming against Rhode Island competition. He won the Cranston East Invitational, the Natick (Mass.) Invitational and the Middlebury (Vt.) Invitational before capturing the state title. Forcier pinned his first three opponents at the State Meet, then edged Bishop Hendricken's Mark Tarro, 5-4, for the state title.
Eduardo Hopp, Central, 124 pounds
As a junior, Hopp won the 119-pound state title while competing for Mount Pleasant because Central did not have a wrestlingprogram. Hopp had the same success this year competing with Mount Pleasant, going undefeated against Rhode Island competition. Hopp won all of his matches at the state tournament by at least eight points and he captured the state title by beating Matt Beaudreault of Rogers, 15-4. Hopp placed sixth at the New England Championships.
Shane Corsi, Cumberland, 152 pounds

The highlight of his season came at the State Meet when he defeated East Providence's Elias Dib, 4-2, to win the 130-pound state title, helping helped La Salle finish second.
Mike Biestek, Middletown, 160 pounds
One of the most feared wrestlers in the state, Biestek, who went 39-1, captured his second straight 160-pound state title by posting a 33-0 record against Rhode Island competition. Biestek pinned the first three opponents he faced at the State Meet before scoring a 14-8 decision over East Providence's Josh Harrison-Lombardi for the state title. Biestek, who finished fifth at the New England Championships, ends his career at Middletown with a record of 126-10.
Corey Peltier, Bishop Hendricken, 135 pounds

Kyle Regnault, La Salle, 171 pounds
One of the most dominating grapplers in the state, Regnault did not lose a single match against Rhode Island competition in the 171-pound weight class. His lone loss (by one point) came when moved up to wrestle North Kingstown's 189-pound statechampion, Charlie Sonder, in a dual meet. Regnault pinned East Providence's Matt Travers to capture the 171-pound state title in 1 minute, 59 seconds. He finished fourth at the New England Championships.
Stephen Mendozzi, La Salle, 275 pounds
Mendozzi, La Salle's captain, used a combination of strength and speed to pin two of his four opponents at the State Meet. Mendozzi defeated Cumberland's Adam Wolowicz, 3-1, to capture the 275-pound title. Mendozzi finished fifth at the New England Championships, leading La Salle to fourth place, the highest among all of the Rhode Island teams.
Charlie Sonder, North Kingstown, 189 pounds
Sonder, who finished second at the state tournament at 171 pounds last season, moved up to 189 pounds and went undefeated against Rhode Island competition, pinning all but three opponents. Invitational, the Hurricane Invitational and the South County Invitational.
